Rachel Myers è una regista e designer pluripremiata, cresciuta in Oregon con un background internazionale, ha creato oltre 150 produzioni cinematografiche, televisive e teatrali nei suoi oltre 20 anni, iniziando come attrice. I film vincitori del premio Myers Wendy's Shabbat e 2 Black Boys sono stati presentati in anteprima al Tribeca e all'OUTFEST, proiettati al Palm Springs International Film Festival e in altri 70 festival in tutto il mondo. Nel 2001 lavora a “Vajont” di Renzo Martinelli: primo film italiano a vedere una post-produzione completamente in Digital Intermediate, e terzo al mondo. Viene chiamato a Cinecittà per far partire “Cinecittà Digital”. Qui lavora con registi come Salvatores, Benigni, Antonioni e molti altri. La sua fama nella correzione colore si fa apprezzare anche all’estero dove, tra gli altri, lavora a fianco di Roman Polanski, e nel 2009 raggiunge la nomination all’HPA Awards – Hollywood Post Alliance di Los Angeles per la color correction di “Quattro padri single” prodotto da Gabriele Muccino.

Rachel Myers is an award-winning director and designer, raised in Oregon with an international background, she’s created over 150 film, television and theatre productions in her 20+ years, starting as an actor.
Myers award winning films Wendy’s Shabbat and 2 Black Boys premiered at Tribeca and OUTFEST, screening at Palm Springs International Film Festival and 70 other festivals worldwide. Wendy’s Shabbat was broadcast on PBS and TOPIC and considered for 2019 Academy Awards.
