SINOSSI
Cracolice, borgo marinaro vicino al Mar Tirreno, è tristemente noto per un evento scoppiato nei primi anni '90, mai smentito né confermato: in seguito all'arrivo delle famose “navi tossiche”, i giovani hanno improvvisamente smesso di crescere, rimanendo adolescenti per sempre .
Come questo sia stato possibile rimane un mistero.

Cracolice, a seaside village near the Tyrrhenian Sea, is sadly known for an event that broke out in the early 90s, never denied or confirmed: following the arrival of the famous “toxic ships”, the young people suddenly stopped growing, remaining teenagers forever.
How this was possible remains a mystery.
Biografia del regista - Fabio Serpa
Fabio Serpa, nasce a Paola (Cosenza), il 17 maggio 1991.
Dopo essersi diplomato in Regia nel 2012 alla “NUCT- Scuola Internazionale di Cinema e Televisione” di Cinecittà (oggi “Roma Film Academy”), gira nel 2016 “El Duelo Weird!”, un bizzarro cortometraggio western/fantascientifico , girato a Bereguardo, al confine con la Svizzera.
L'opera è stata selezionata in oltre 30 festival mondiali, vincendone cinque, a Monza, Roma, Tokyo, Berlino e Arizona.
Nel 2020 è la volta di “Cracolice”, mockumentary di fantascienza ambientato in Calabria e incentrato sul disastro delle navi velenose nel Mar Tirreno.
Distribuito da Gargantua Film Distribution, è selezionato in 16 festival in Italia e in Europa (tra cui il “Montpellier Film Festival”, il più importante festival francese dopo Cannes), successivamente selezionato dal Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio di Torino nella sezione “10 cortometraggi films around the world” come una delle opere italiane più rappresentative del 2020 e inserita anche in una tesi di uno studente dell'Università IULM di Milano nel 2021.
Vince come “Miglior Corto Calabrese” alla seconda edizione del “Calabria Movie Film Festival” di Crotone, “Miglior Docufilm” al “Mediterraneo Festival Corto” di Diamante e “Miglior” Fiction all'“Ortometraggi Film Festival” di Torino. Ha inoltre vinto il “Miglior Montaggio” al “Pollino Film Festival” di Castrovillari e la “Menzione Speciale” alla “Visioni Notturne” di Firenze.
Nel 2022 sarà la volta di “Preview”, la sua prima regia di un cortometraggio in animazione 2D, prodotto da Rhapsodia s.r.l., con sede a Roma.

Fabio Serpa, was born in Paola (Cosenza), on May 17, 1991.
After graduating in Film Direction in 2012 at the “NUCT- International School of Cinema and Television” in Cinecittà (today “Roma Film Academy”), he shoots in 2016 “El Duelo Weird!”, a bizarre western/sci-fi short film, shot in Bereguardo, on the border with Switzerland.
The work has been selected in over 30 world festivals, winning five of them, in Monza, Rome, Tokyo, Berlin and Arizona.
In 2020 it is the turn of “Cracolice”, a science fiction mockumentary set in Calabria and focused on the disaster of the poison ships in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Distributed by Gargantua Film Distribution, it is selected in 16 festivals in Italy and Europe (including the “Montpellier Film Festival”, the most important French festival after Cannes), subsequently chosen by the National Short Film Center of Turin in the section “10 short films around the world” as one of the most representative Italian works of 2020 and also included in a thesis by a student of the IULM University of Milan in 2021.
It wins as “Best Calabrian Short” at the second edition of “Calabria Movie Film Festival” in Crotone, “Best Docufilm” at “Mediterraneo Festival Corto” in Diamante and “Best” Fiction at “Ortometraggi Film Festival” in Turin. It also won “Best Editing” at the “Pollino Film Festival” in Castrovillari and “Special Mention” at the “Visioni Notturne” in Florence.
In 2022 it will be the turn of “Preview”, his first direction of a short film in 2D animation, produced by Rhapsodia s.r.l., based in Rome.
